“Enough 37-year-old podcasters have searched the term on Urban Dictionary to make it truly ubiquitous—yet another piece of slang sacrificed at the hands of the media class.”
Eminently skippable media, to be sure, but many such cases of it
Jack Perry seems to be referencing the last Punk blow-up with his 'scapegoat' character in New Japan, will be interesting to see what comes of that given that Perry has been fairly uninspiring on the mic. A shame because there's something there, a very solid wrestler, good looks, tons of potential. The Bucks, well at this stage they need to do something new. They can put on great wrestling matches that are sort of thrilling to watch in the moment and then extremely difficult to distinguish between over time. They need to bring some extra spice, especially now you have teams like Top Flight that can do everything they do in the ring and then some. Show some passion, study Eddie Kingston and think 'how could we do this but for good Christian boys from Southern California'.
That's not my preferred style of wrestling, but I don't think I'd go as far as to say Top Flight are an improved version of the Young Bucks. They do a lot of really impressive spots, but I don't think they are at the stage where they can combine them in a cohesive way and wrestle a great match.
Perry is sort of playing off the Punk scenario, but in a really lame "I'm not getting pushed by the promotion" scenario that doesn't seem to have an antagonist. That's why the Bucks and FTR need each other. Being mad about CM Punk is meaningless if it doesn't lead to something tangible!
Thanks for reading. I love getting thoughtful comments like this!
Why don't you mention that FTR are joined at the hip to Nick Hausman and their mouthpiece Matt Koon, who both hate The Bucks, or Dax's association with Jim Cornette, who advised FTR to shoot injure the Bucks in a match and hold the tag titles hostage?
Why are The Bucks constantly being forced to comprimise?
Man..TK could’ve saved me an hour of reading if he’d just given the ✏️ to the author and his wife 😆

I'm not sure what you mean by compromise. They already work with FTR. Why not do it in a way that creates a memorable experience for the fans?
